No pick 3, just category 5! Hurricane Melissa washes out lottery games

October 27, 2025

As Jamaicans brace for Hurricane Melissa, gaming giant Supreme Ventures Group has announced that there will be no live draws or ticket sales on Tuesday, October 28 as a safety precaution for both staff and customers.

The company made the announcement in a post on its official Instagram page on Monday evening, saying the move was taken to protect lives.

"All tickets purchased for October 28 will be valid when live draws resume," Supreme Ventures said.

The pause affects all of the company's popular games, including Pick 3, Lotto, Top Draw, Cash Pot, Dollaz, Lucky 5, and Money Time.

But while many online users praised the company for putting safety first, others took a more humorous approach.

One user joked, "So we are cooked," while another asked, "Which number a hurricane or crawsis? Cause one must play after all a dis."

Another commenter laughed off the announcement saying, "Mi happy it close because mi can't buy mi Pick 3 from yesterday, so mi happy no draws."

Supreme Ventures urged Jamaicans to stay safe and follow official advisories as the country prepares for worsening weather conditions from the approaching storm.
