Shauna Chyn writing autobiography

Dancehall artiste Shauna Chyn is adding the title of novelist to her rÈsumÈ.

The entertainer said she is currently penning her autobiography titled I'm Legend.

She told THE STAR that readers will learn about exclusive details of her life in the book that is slated to be released later this year.

"I have been through a lot and have been on my own from an early age and have had a lot of experience. The book will speak about my abusive parents, and just having to have to do everything for myself," she said.

Chyn came to the spotlight in 2014 as the girlfriend/manager of 'rags to riches' entertainer Gully Bop.

Their relationship was somewhat rocky and abusive and eventually led to a nasty public break-up. Chynn stated that details from their relationship may be included in her book.

"It speaks about my journey, about me becoming an entertainer. I got bashed and humiliated a lot but I continue to put in the work until it is now starting to pay off. I may speak about the relationship with Bop or probably not; the fans will just have to wait and see," she said.

Shauna Chyn joins several other female entertainment industry players who have ventured into writing novels. Among them are Miss Kitty, D'Angel and Macka Diamond.
